NOTE! only fit engine numbers from 612713 to 674841: exclusively for model XC, XCA, XCX and XR is also suitable for earlier engine numbers from 674842 to 855531.

NOTE! When replacing the starter motor on these Triumph models, it is always recommended to also replace the various components of the starter freewheel kit: if the starter motor works with worn gears it will have a very short life. These Triumph models often give starting problems: it is also recommended that you make sure that the battery always has the manufacturer's stated starting current.
