On several models of vintage motorcycles, the lowering can be adjusted by replacing the system that connects the shock absorber to the frame, while on newer motorcycles the options are only to install a shorter spring or a complete lowered shock absorber - quite expensive, but with extreme lowering the best solution. Hyperpro lowered springs are springs designed not only with a different height but also with a different elastic constant from the stock one to work better than the original spring, without lowering: the first part is softer so that the bike can lower with its own weight.
