Rick's Motorsport Electrics has been providing aftermarket starter motors for over 30 years. Rick's manufacturers new and rebuilds custom starter motors for motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, off road, street bikes, & snowmobiles. The Rick's Motorsport Electric Starter is a new starter motor and direct replacement for OEM. This is cost effective way to get your bike going again. All parts are new and built to OEM specs so they're just as good as the original starter. All Rick's Motorsport Electric Starters are developed and tested to guarantee the best engine ignition. OEM part number Honda: 31200-MA6-008, 31200-MJ1-405, 31200-MJ1-780.

I am wanting to know if another customer has bought and fitted to there bike as when I contacted Ricks motorsport electrics directly they said that the part number you have does not correspond with the OEM part number of CBX550F it fits CB700SC

Depending on the frame type, we have found from dozens of past sales that in some cases drilling and milling modifications to the mounts may solve the fitment in Honda CBX 550 F/F2 models with this Rick's Motorsport Electric starter motor. It is not compatible ready to be installed in a Honda CB 700 SC but in the past has been sold even for this model, we have reasons to think it can be adapted. La Honda CBX 550 F2 del 1982 mi risulta che abbia il seriale PC04: questo motorino di avviamento Rick's Motorsport Electric è compatibile con la sua moto ma abbiamo riscontrato dalle vendite che in alcuni casi potrebbero essere necessarie modifiche di foratura e fresatura degli attacchi per l'adattamento, a seconda del tipo di telaio. In pronta consegna.

Mi spiace non essere in grado di risponderle, purtroppo il produttore non ci comunica le specifiche tecniche di questo motorino di avviamento ma posso confermarle la compatibilità con Honda CBX 550: questo codice in particolare è un motorino che viene dal magazzino americano quindi nel caso procedesse con l'ordine la prego di tenere presente circa 15 giorni d attesa.
