Saddle seat suitable for several models of vintage motorcycles: lightweight and durable, made of fiberglass and finished with a coat of paintable gelcoat. Ideal for restoring old vintage motorcycles or creating sport-style specials. To install this saddle, it is not necessary to cut the original frame of the bike, but it is almost always necessary to modify other parts of the bike as well, such as the tail light assembly, fender and license plate mount. The saddle base has no mounting points to the frame: it can be drilled or resined to mount it via a plate or frame on the motorcycle. Mounting the fiberglass seat requires the use of rubber pads to absorb vibration and protect the frame from bumps and scratches. Once the seat is attached to the frame, all that will be needed to complete the saddle is to make the padding and seat cover.
