Brake & clutch fluid Motul DOT 5.1 0.5lt

Motul DOT 5.1 synthetic brake and clutch fluid: ideal for motorcycles with ABS brake systems. Particularly long-lasting brake fluid due to its high wet boiling point: this fluid ensures maximum flow in the precision mechanics of anti-lock braking systems (ABS). Corrosion resistant: behaves neutrally to brake system seals. Seal thoroughly and store in original container to prevent moisture absorption: for safety reasons, brake fluids should not be refilled but replaced!

Motul DOT 5.1 brake fluid features:

• standard FMVSS 116 DOT 5.1
• oil base: non-silicone polyglycol-based synthetic
• use: brake and clutch circuit
• replacement interval: between 12 and 24 months, depending on manufacturer's recommendation
• viscosity: at 100°C 2.1 mm²/s, at -40°C 820.0 mm²/s
• boiling point: at dry 269.0°C(516.0°F), at wet 187.0°C(369.0°F)

NOTE: Do not mix with silicone-based brake fluids. Fluid may attack vehicle paint!
