The assembly of fiberglass tanks requires the use of rubber pads to absorb vibrations and protect the frame from bumps and scratches. Almost every fiberglass fuel tanks have anchored pawls resinated both at the front and at the rear: these joints can be used to fix the fuel tank with rubber elastic mountings. Some models instead have the same joints as the original fuel tank.
