vorrei sapere cosa comporta il fatto che non abbia alcuna omologazione.

Dovrebbe controllare cosa è stato riportato dalla Casa Madre sul libretto di circolazione; se alla voce corrispondente al terminale di scarico non è riportata nessun tipo di omologazione allora nessun problema. Se invece è specificato un qualche codice di omologazione, allora installando un terminale non omologato viola il codice della strada ed è soggetto a sanzione amministrativa.
