La molla installata di serie su questo mono ammortizzatore per Yamaha FJ110 ha una durezza pari a 150Nm: la taratura con cui vengono consegnati i mono ammortizzatori YSS è una regolazione standard paragonabile come precarico molla a quella dell'ammortizzatore di serie. Il produttore consiglia di non apportare modifiche al settaggio a meno di di avere esigenze particolari come ad esempio se si viaggia sempre con valigie e passeggero.
