DESCRIPTION

Fiberglass cloth wrap stable at temperatures up to 649°C (1200°F). Length 15mt, width 5cm. Insulates exhaust header pipes to protect you and your machine from intense heat: protects the frame and other parts of the motorcycles from burns.Protects against abrasions, hot oil spills, road grime and more. Used on race engines to control heat dissipation of intake and exhaust systems: higher temperatures inside the system increase the flow and assist scavenging. Can also be used on street bikes to protect pants, shoes or saddlebags: give a unique style to your motorcycle. To secure the wrap on the manifolds so that it does not loosen plaese use fastening straps.

Quantity needed to wrap around a 100cm long exhaust pipe according to the outside diameter, matching each round of wrap for a width of about 25mm:

diameter 35mm: required length about 4.5mt
diameter 40mm: required length about 5mt

diameter 50mm: required length about 6mt
diameter 55mm: required length about 6.5mt

Si in effetti la benda di colore nero è l'unica che a seconda di come viene trattata (ad esempio l'acqua che prende e le temperature che vengono raggiunte) schiarisce tendendo al grigio: questa invece che ha una qualità e anche un prezzo completamente diverso rimane esattamente come la riceve click here to view the link. Le assicuro che una trama spettacolare (tipo quella del carbonio) che in foto non rende assolutamente.

Salve sono dubbioso sulla temperatura garantita, il collettore di scarico (subito all'uscita della valvola) dovrebbe raggiungere i 700/800 Gradi (in funzione del motore) avete mai riscontrato problemi nell'installazione di queste fasce ?

Non sono in grado di dirle quanto sia esatta la temperatura massima presente in presente in descrizione: posso dirle che questa di colore nero è l'unica tra quelle che vede a catalogo che se viene bagnata troppo a lungo prima di essere montata sui collettori scolorisce tendendo al grigio. Credo che sia una questione di qualità, sicuramente questo è prodotto economico mentre questa che differisce leggermente nel colore è la migliore che abbiamo click here to view the link. Come le dicevo comunque anche sulle bende di altri colori (pur essendo di qualità simile a quella nera) non abbiamo avuto problemi.

Buongiorno, vorrei sapere se le bande in questione vanno bene per i collettore di scarico di un monocilindrico 600cc (Yamaha XT600)

Si, una confezione dovrebbe essere sufficiente per il suo collettore di scarico.

Una sola confezione da 5 metri potrebbe non essere sufficiente. Dipende molto dalla sovrapposzione delle spire che andrà a fare, ma considerando anche il compensatore credo proprio che 1 confezione non sia sufficiente

Non abbiamo mai riscontrato nessun danno dall'utilizzo delle bende per collettori; in teoria il loro utilizzo nasce per ottenere una minore dispersione di calore e un conseguente aumento della temperatura dei gas di scarico che (nei motori da corsa) sembrerebbe volocizzarne la fuoriscita.
