The Morse Silent Chain range features the exclusive "M" specification, which consists of a heat treatment to increase the surface hardness of the pins combined with advanced chain assembly technology: high wear resistance and extremely low chain elongation. Morse chains are produced in Japan by Borg Warner Morse TEC, a leader in the sector, and are used not only for distribution drive but also for other transmissions such as primary, oil pump drive, counter-rotating shafts and cam-to-cam. Characteristics of Morse chains are: precision, smoothness, noiseless transmission, high resistance to wear and fatigue, extremely reduced dimensions and weight.
